REMARKS :
REMARKS :
#
- ONLY for L15A7 engine with integrated exhaust manifold (not interchangeable with L15A1 cams)
#
The valve clearance ramps on these Honda profiles are very long (partly to compensate valve train flexibility on the vtec system). For this reason, the duration numbers at 0.1mm valve lift (after setting the indicated valve clearance) are extremely large and cannot be compared to any other advertised duration numbers.
#
Distance between valve and piston should be 1.0mm at least:
-
check 5-15° after TDC on intake
-
check 5-15° before TDC on exhaust
Machine pistons if required. Wrong installation can cause severe engine damage!
#
massflow or throttle position sensor required for reprogramming, MAP sensor will not funtion properly
